We hold to a strong belief that the church is intended to function as extended family. It doesn’t happen immediately, but this is what we aim for; a set apart family that exists for the sake of others. In addition we’ve seen time and time again that life transformation happens best within the context of a gospel centered community around a meal, content, and prayer. On Thursday night’s we meet for dinner, to study specific content, and to get to know one another. Join us in May for study series on Mental Health and the Bible.
Compass and Light: May Mid Week Series
Mental health is one of the most complex and far-reaching issues in our community. It crosses every racial and socio-economic line. It affects 1 in 5 people in the United States. Yet, it is an issue that is greatly misunderstood and our community is woefully under-equipped to serve those struggling with their mental health. Since we are called to actively love our neighbors, we need to learn how to embrace this part of our community.
